The Beast Creaks.

4134 has a bad case of the creaks.The car had the original sway bar bushings which appeared to be rubber.I thought they are not supposed to make any noise. The rear A Arm bushings are not original and have grease fittings.The front A Arm bushings are still original.

I replaced the sway bar bushings front and rear with poly bushings from PE. Marino also sent me some of his super sticky grease which I applied liberally to the channel inside each bushing.

After replacing the bushings the car still creaks, no worse or any better. Is it possible that I am tightening down the bushing brackets too much? The factory service manual does not give a torque setting, only to tighten securely.

Any thoughts?
