Note however that only one side has a clear back-up lens. The other is amber. This is common among French tail lights, but I have yet to figure out why.

Pantera74 - can you explain why French cars have amber back-ups?

Also,from the auction photos, it looks like mounting these lights in a Pantera would be a bit of an effort. They appear to be slightly curved at the outside edges - problem #1.

And these lights have three mounting studs no where close to the Pantera studs in location or depth - problem #2.

I HIGHLY doubt this car came from De Tomaso with those lights. I've checked my hard cover books for all the early photos of the Pantera, and they all show the standard Euro version of the Alfa lights Ford used.
