There is another frequent poster to this board who has an avater with a white Pantera, with a front license plate prominantly displayed, just like mine. In fact his avatar photo is so close to my beauty shot it's uncanny. Smiler It's an oregon plate, but I can't remember who the person is.

Around these parts, a front plate is a requirement and the police -will- nail you for it, especially in something as eye-catching as the Pantera. Although I've thought about putting it on a really loose hinge so that it stays out of the way (tucked up under the bumper) at speed, but drops in place at rest. Hmmm. Wink

Anyway, my plans currenlty are to pretty much stay stock for a little while. I'll probably add the Kirk Evans bumpers and rear wing since they are both small and tasteful modifications. I'm also going to add a newer and lower headlight system, though I'm not sure which just yet, I am leaning to the Kirk Evans kit there too.

So overall, I'm going to do with the Pantera whatever makes me happy. Yes, it's a pretty stock example, but it was literally driven every day for several years. Receipts seem to indicate over 100K miles and it shows in places. Eventually it will get a trip to the wizards of bodywork and paint, probably go through a color change, get a beefed up home-brew engine, some fancy electronics, new shoes, interior, etc.

But first, I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can. Smiler And then afterwards, I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can. Smiler
