my comrades butcher me in this site and on EBAY!! WOW!!!

First off, I am sure I speak for not just myself, but for everyone here on the forum, that the forced sale of your Pantera is a sad thing for all of us to watch. Honestly, we feel your pain and hope your life will soon settle back to a good place.

As one of those who did write to you through eBay, I do however feel it is unfair to say you were butchered on eBay, by me or anyone else.

The question I sent did not have to be answered.

You took the high road and answered the questions from geoshanna and me, answers which automatically are sent to the questioner. Unless eBay has recently changed the process, it was YOU who then chose to have those questions/answers posted to the auction listing.

As the discussion of the interior photo was ongoing at the P.I. forum, that was really the place for you to publicly post your answers.

As for the postings here in this thread that alluded to an auction fraud, perhaps you will recall the thread some time ago about 7001 - the car from Canadian Andrew that was totaled in a T-bone accident. At that time you were among the many who expressed thanks for the heads-up on the true situation of that car. Due to the geoshanna photo and your use of the silver GT5 as your LEAD auction photo, it did begin to appear that some deception was present in your auction. Just like with 7001, that was a valid issue for discussion.

I believe this could have been handled better by all of us.

Might I suggest you cancel the eBay auction - state it is no longer available for sale, as is often the case on auto sales.

Then redo your auction in a less confusing manner, more carefully pick which questions/answers you wish to add to your auction, and let the new auction run, free of the turmoil that came with the first listing.

I'm sorry for any grief I may have added to this matter. That was not my intent.

Larry
