Have just had my car inspected for its English Ministry of transport test, I have had the car (3840) for just over a year, and have sorted out many issues with the help of Pantera owners.
I now await a registration number plate for the car before I can legally use it on the road, but you are allowed to drive to and from the testing station. So I have driven 18 miles so far with no overheating, and have thoroughly enjoyed it, the car drives very well with I think an ordinary engine, which is more than powerful enough for my skills. The only problem is the throttle cable which when the engine is at normal temperature is sticking, and I have to lift the acc pedal up to stop the engine racing.
Not much I know, but I seem to remember reading about smoother throttle cables being available?
If the original cable would behave properly after removal and getting some lubrication inside, I would prefer to do that, but if there is an issue with the original cables I would just buy another one, whats the best option here please, Oh and my speedo is wavering at some speeds, lube that too?
