Not to be argumentative DT or a know it all, but the Mark IV, I am quite sure is a single 4v tunnel port.
2/4's ain't no good for road racing, that's Saturday night at the drive in stuff.
The Gurney hump is in the Mark II, the black car I believe.
Mark IV's competed under the same rule making them a "40" but they really aren't. The chassis is all aluminum, welded piece by piece. The GT40's a a steel shell.
The Mark IV's don't use a ZF either. They have there own transaxle using Ford "top loader" internals.
But yea, it is high on the list of anyone who has ever seen one. It is arguably the first "super-car".
It ended because it was heavier and no faster the Mark II's and because of the "J" car appendix.
That's the car Ken Miles got killed testing.
