But you're right about red cars. I think the Ferrari guys have a cute term for the cost differential of non-red ferraris compared to red ones.
Now that you've brought it up, German cars need to be silver, except for early 911's which were supposed to be Guards Red; and British cars are BRG, of course, except for E Types which look great in red. I don't identify color with American or Japanese cars, however.
