Timing marks?

I'm attempting to set the timing on my car. Removing the cover in the bellhousing reveals a centered raised mark on the housing. On the flywheel, there are three white marks, about 1" apart. Is it safe to assume these are 10 BTDC, TDC & 10 ATDC?
