Hello Larry,
When pulling against crank use brass or something softer than the metal to protect end of the crank and threads.
you will want to measure the inside diameter of your new balance & then the crank snout .0017" to .002" press fit, I use permatex non hardening on the key and snout to seal for leaks when installing, replace the seal and use engine oil were the seal and crank meet when sliding on during assembly, I say this loosely as you will probably have to heat up the assembly to get it on due to the pressfit.
