Question 1: What is the difference between the heritage campy 17's at P.I. and the ones available at Pantera's East?

Marino at Pantera East had his clones made by Boyd Coddington Wheels. They are a correct style duplicate of the original wheels. By this, I mean the points of the center pentagram aim at the large single hole section, not the two-slot section. The second series of his wheels have forged centers. I have them on 2511 and have had zero regrets or problems with them. I do not know the source of the P.I. wheels.


Question 2: Does anybody know for sure if Michelin is going to discontinue the 335/35/17 PS tires or not?

If you are referring to the original Pilot Sport tires, they ARE already discontinued. Add to this they have also discontinued the 245/45x16 tires and I - along with a lot of other folks that went with the 16's up front with the 17's rear - will be searching for a good matched set in the near future.

Larry
