The Michelin's referred to are actually made by Coker tire from Mold Michelin molds. At least someone is picking up the ball even if it is an expensive option.

Another option in use by GT40 and Cobra guys are;

Avon CRZ66 DOT competition tire, but a lot of guys swear by them for road use and get good wear. One of the few V rated radial 15" tires. Expensive, but cheaper than Coker's option and available through http://www.rogerkrausracing.com/Avon/AVCR6ZZ.shtml
