Rod Kunishige of TPOC did a very simple modification to his car to increase passenger side legroom. He cut the section of the engine cover out, that was making contact with the seat. I believe he welded a new section back in and then may have even used the existing fabric to cover the altered area? At least one other member of TPOC did the same modification.
