Mine have been fine.and I have been stuck in some heavy traffic, however I have not been stuck in heavy traffic on a stinking hot day... yet.

Tha fact that it lets you clear up the back section, is well worth it.
As you can see in this pic the bottom of the pic is all clear, makes the engine bay look bigger and cleaner.
