Reply to "TOM TJAARDA'S FLIGHT TO C. I."

Good day to all,
I would like to thank everyone for their help in helping me give Tom a fantastic week. He and I arrive on Wednesday and will have dinner that evening at Tarpys. I asked Peter and Gayle Brock and received a glowing and definite yes response. Keith Martin (Sports Car Market) found out and will be sending two writers down a day early to interview Tom and I about this trip and his 40th aniversary of the Pantera design at Tarpys. Thursday eve Tom and I will go to see Valentino Balboni at my Lamborghini dinner then stop off at the Baja Cantina for friends and fun. I called and spoke long Friday with Tom Mc Dowell who owns Concorso Italiano, he was very apologetic about Tom not making it, I then told him the facts of this trip and now Tom will be interviewed Friday morn on radio, will be a featured guest, giving VIP status (food), and will be up on the drive through platform speaking. Tom will be that evening at the Pantera dinner about 6:30, then we leave to see Piero Rivolta, Andrea Zagato and Winston Goodfellow at the ISO dinner.
Saturday, we will use pit passes that a Pantera person gave Tom and I to Luguna Seca, we will be there all day!? That evening as my 30,000 or so emails have stated. I am having a casual dinner for Tom and ALL de Tomaso lovers at my house. This is a dinner to show our appreciation for Tom. Tom along with Jacques Grelley and maybe Andrew Reilly will be my house guests. Tarpys will provide us a wonderful Italian meal, Colleen Lister and her friend are helping me big time with preparations, beer and wine. Should start about 6:30 and lets be hopefull that these people I have spoke to do show up as my guest; Jay Leno and his manager Bernald Juchli, Piero Rivolta, Andrea Zagato, Andrew Reilly (manager of MULLIN museum of Bugattis), Keith Martin, Toni Blevins, Ron De Maderios, Bill Motta (the chosen Benz photographer this year) and car crazy Barry Meguiar. I have very secure parking for about 40 cars and I am six blocks from R+M and auctions. So walking and leaving your car safe is a fine option. Ask and you may receive. Well, I have and it looks like I/we will.

So bottom line, donations as of now have paid for Tom's flight, Wednesday dinner for Tom and the Brocks and some of the dinner party. This is nothing fancy and over the top except the home, our great attitudes and cool guest. I am making sure that all donated monies go the proper direction, I have owned and sweat/stress run my foreign car shop for 30 years. Your donations will be used only for Tom and club members. My paypal and bills will be displayed after we are fat and happy.
