Reply to "Torker vs. Performer351 4-V"

I have a Torker intake manifold installed on my modified 351-C in my Pantera. Basic engine specs are as follows: Bore is .030 over stock, stock stroke, hydraulic roller cam installed (.550 lift @ .050, 222 deg. intake, .585 lift @ .050, 232 deg. exhaust), 9.5:1 C/R, 2.25" dia intake valve, stock dia exhaust valve (Tulip Head from B.B. Chevy), ported 4V closed chamber heads ('71), B.G. Gold Claw Carburetor configured for 725 CFM.

This engine configuration is good for 6500 RPM, idles @ 650-800 RPM & runs like hell everywhere in between. There is no sign of power falling off even @ 6500 RPM! Someday, I'll try a Rousch or other high-rise single plane intake, but at the moment, I'm very pleased with the current performance. Good Luck!
