Trunk lid ribs coming loose

Has anyone had to resecure the trunk lid to its ribs? What would be a good adhesive for this? I noticed the flex as I was raising the lid at the ribs near the passenger side hinge. Also, any tricks on getting the lid to actually pop up a bit when the release is pulled?
