We have set up a tour of the Southern AZ wine country. Bring your spouses or significant others!
Basic game plan is to meet in Tucson off East I-10 (at the TTT). We will start to arrive at 0830 (for breakfast) and leave at 0930 SHARP. If people are meeting us from the East Part of the State, we will join up at the Highway 83 Turnoff (South Side of Freeway, on Highway 83).
We then take Hwy 83 south for some "spirited driving" to stretch the legs. We will travel from I-10 through the Empirita Mountains to Sonoita. We would then cruise the wine country for the morning.
Arrive: Sonoita Vineyards by 1100.
We have arranged lunch at the Sonoita Vineyards winery, which would include some time for admiration of our cars, and scenic pictures. The Winery will supply a catered lunch, and a tour of the vineyards / winemaking operations.
* Note - vineyard has a maintained 1/4 mi gravel road on the way in (drive slow)!
