Check your reverse light switch mounted on the ZF. I had some of the same problems as you, without the trans being in reverse. On my broken switch the return spring was broken, a contact was broke and the plunger was stuck gunked up by 34 year old grease. Disconnect the two wires to the switch to see if that cures your problem. Chuck
