1. Towards you is flash headlights if you have that option (headlights need to be already raised though to be any use!), center is 'dipped beam' and away 'full beam'.
2. Not too hard if you are careful when taking it apart to see where everything goes, but more often than not the plastic parts are broken internally.
3. As far as I knwo SoBill is still repairing them, he was charging something ridiculously low like $50, by far the best way to go. He doesn't frequent this board, contact him from the e-mail list.
4. The shims/blocks sit above the steering column brackets to get the correct angle, you can play around with thicknesses to get a better angle if it suits.
