Signal? You signal? In NY no one signals 'cause it ain't nobody elses business where they are going.
I guess that makes sense in a strange way? Hey this is NY now. What did you expect sanity?

I tried to scan the illustration for you but the scanner is kaput at the moment.

The red plastic signal canceller installs with the finger up. There is a small tab on the top edge of the outside diameter of the ring that is supposed to intersect with the grooves on the bottom of the hub adapter.

Mine is chipped off so it doesn't work properly either.
I think the pressure of the spring broke it when I installed.

The thing is kinda fragile like bakalite.

I know you can get a new one but it's probably a gazillion bucks.
