You do'nt only have to remove the rear U-joint but also take the wheel shaft out of the hub. To do this, you must unscrew the slotted nut with a special socket (be careful, normally on the left it is a reverse pitch) and remove the shaft which is force-fitted into the bearings. It's not really an easy job and I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner.
