That's some great work Jason and E85 is a great choice for boosted engine. Is there an intercooler in that induction circuit? How much boost are you running with the E85 and/or pump fuel. Curious as why you stuck with a Cleveland block at that power level. You're tempting fate every time you're on the boost at that power level with the good ole Cleveland iron.

Take care,
Kelly

As you know, air to air's aren't a feasable choice for a pantera, and air to waters are a plumbing nightmare for the pantera. So I chose intercooling with staged injection using upstream PCI (post compressor injectors). The setup was originally designed for injecting methanol on top of gasoline. At the time, E85 was not available at any gas stations in driving distance. So now with E85 available, I don't need to run the methanol. The turbochargers are large enough that at the boost levels I run, the air doesn't get too hot. I was running 14psi before, and 4th gear pulls, the air temps would only get up to about 145degrees. I was making a little over 700hp to the tires. Since I lowered the compression, and put a better cam in, I'll be running about 18psi on E85. Should do about 800 to 850 at that boost. I am running the cleveland basically because it was already in the car! Smiler Until I prove it can't handle it...I'll stick with it. Alot of engines get a bad rap for blowing up because the tune isn't right. So...we'll see!
