type 1 gear ratios

I have a type 1 transaxle. It seems to work fine but I would like more top end speed. Is it possible to remove the fourth gear .96 and replace it with my fifth gear .84 and then install and new fifth .705. This would give me the speed I am looking for and leave a good stacking of gears.
