I hope this individual sells his Pantera on Monday, 8/19/03, and that there are five buyers waiting with certified checks for $34,900 and a few of the 'bidders' have another $5,000 - $10,000 in their pockets. This is a fine Pantera, done by reputable Pantera Vendors, who have been in the business for many years and it must have cost this gentleman much more than what he is sacrificing his Pantera for, including the initial cost of the cat, wheels, tires, etc.

When I see a Pantera of this caliber offered at such a rock bottom price, should I be thinking that I need to keep my investment $$$ below a certain level, so I can turn my Pantera, should I ever have to/want to sell? No, maybe this guy had a call from his stock broker on some stock issued on margin, or is going through a divorce, or something like that. That's why I feel bad for this guy.

To buy a used Pantera, have all that work done to it, and add up the receipts, well, we're talking at least $45,000. If he's gonna eat $10,000, then it's because he's got to have the cash very fast. I feel for the guy.

Who among us wants our investment to be worth $10,000 less than what we have in it? These are rare cars, and this is a fluke deal. IMHO. When I was looking for a Pantera, these kind of deals were already gone when I made the telephone call. Every time.

This deal is a steal.... Like I said, I wish I had waited 3 more months before buying a Pantera. I'd be on a plane to the East Coast with a certified check in my pocket on Sunday night, and driving home on Monday. But then again, with my luck, it would already be sold....

This Pantera is not representative of the Pantera's fair market value.

Wanna talk about being upset about Pantera prices? Why have Carrol Shelby's AC Cobra and Shelby Mustang prices gone through the roof and Pantera prices have not? That's my thinking. My Pantera will be worth some real money someday. And if I don't get my price, then I won't sell. That simple. Hope I never run into financial ruin, and have to sell....
