nah... everybody is just choosing the most expensive , as a investmend for the future... as if there was a free omnium Insurance and free maintenance ..or not to drive it !
i'm happy with my Pantera , for me it's the most exiting exotic car affordeble ... but who knows, the more expensive, the more the driving pleasure ??? I doubt it ! and with all oldtimers, the cat is a pain in the ass to drive, so what do we want more ?

Not quite... I'm not interested in the California Spyder as an investment vehicle - it's actually the reason I'll never own one - it's TOO DAMN valuable! Well, that and I could never afford one anyway.

A couple years ago my wife posed an interesting question right before I headed to Monterey. I own 9 cars (including daily drivers) and 5-6 of them can be considered enthusiast vehicles or toys. Those vehicles alone have a pretty significant total value (IMO). So, she asked me if there's something else nicer that I'd rather have instead - see where she's going with this? She's trying to reduce the stable. The Monterey Historics was a month after she asked me this so I seriously scrutinized just about every other car there for what I'd rather have, or if it's something I'd rather have (within the budget of course), then went on an EXHILARATING Sunday drive with 4 other PCNC members a few weeks later, and determined without a doubt that my 72 pre-L Pantera and my 66 Mustang are unbeatable for pure fun, good looks, style and performance, and overall bang for the buck! Those two will stay in my garage for many years to come! The other cars I may consider parting with - I'd love a replica of the California Spyder, or a 289 FIA Cobra replica, or a GT-40 replica. I just wish she posed this question/proposition when Ron was selling his GT40.

There are few other cars that have piqued my interest, but we'll see. I need to first find a job, then figure out what to do with the other cars.
