I don't think those are the GM lamps. The one's you're referring to did go on some model pick up truck and the Trans Am. They are approx. 3 x 5" and had flutes in the lens.
The GM plant I was in made them. These look like clear lenses.
They look real nice on the car, but I doubt legal.
