Reply to "Vallelunga registry"

A variety of things: alloy bodywork, one-off bodywork, right-hand drive etc. etc. - basically anything that made them substantially different from the 50 glassfibre Berlinetta's Ghia were contracted to build.

My car (VL 1609) for example, has one-off Spyder bodywork by Fantuzzi, 1601 D was right-hand drive, 1606 is a Fantuzzi Berlinetta (a prototype). There were also other cars like the Ghia-bodied 'Competizione 2000' and the original light green Fissore-bodied Vallelunga Spyder (amongst others) that probably also have VL 16XX rather than 807 DT 0XXX VIN numbers.

Best,
