Vapor shield on doors?

I have my door panels off for the first time to work on the power windows and noticed there was no vapor shield between the door and door panel like my other 70s Fords. Did the Pantera originally come with some kind of barrier, either plastic or the tar paper that came on Mustangs? If not, have some of you added it? Thanks
