Make sure the white/black wire is connected to the sensor input on the gauge. The yellow wire is the low level light and is not used with the VDO gauge.

The Ohm values are close with the VDO gauge that I specd out for Vic. The gauge goes more than full scale at a full tank, and you have 5 gal left at E. Once you get to know the personality of the gauge, then you get more confident of it's reading.
