If you plan on using the stock sender, you must match the VDO fuel gauge that work in the stock range. Check out http://www.egauges.com/VD2_main.asp. Someone on this forum posted this site before so I bookmarked it as it shows the spec for each vdo fuel gauge. The closest VDO fuel gauge ohm range is 240 - 33 ohms E/F. I suppose you can add a 33ohm resistor in series with the stock 200 - 0ohm E/F sender to get 233 - 33ohm E/F for a closer match.
