Veglia Oil Pressure Guage Adaption to Chevy V8

I'm trying to adapt a Veglia oil pressure guage to a small block Chevy 350. I have the correct sending unit for the guage but can not easily adapt it to fit the Chevy small block. I can plug the Chevy sending unit to the guage but get zero reading. Not sure if some sort of RC circuit could be created so that the gauge can read what the sending unit is providng. Any knowledge or recommendation would be appreciated.
