Thank you for the correction, although I referred to an adapter in the text I did indeed post a link to an incorrect part for Rick's application.

In terms of the semantics of the use of 'adapter' or 'bushing' if one looks up the definition of a bushing it is indeed "An adapter threaded to permit joining of pipes with different diameters". A bushing is an adapter, an adapter is not necessarily a bushing.

Hopefully Rick will be in touch with which is his male side and which is his female
