Excellent question PanteraDoug,
I do not see any disclaimers for transmission type which usually means that it is used on both auto and manual (or engineer who input into system was too lazy to specify). The 715113 part number was only used on European Escorts... However, after a little research, I found the the 715113 replace an earlier version which was the 94BB-9E731-CA. This engineering part number did have North American applications and believe it or not, is still listed as an active part number sold under the Service Part Number F5RZ-9E731-CB. This version should still be available through local US Ford dealers. Hopefully, this helps to clarify some of the mystery behind the part numbers.... By the way, this part number also doesn't specify auto or manual transmission so all you can do is assume that it was used on both...
