In that spirit, I would like to compliment Tommy Hodges and Extreme Pantera in Buena Park, Ca.for his recent work on my car. He pulled out all the old Hilborn efi electronics ( been fighting the lack of real tuning ability for 2 years)and installed the latest FAST xfi elctronics. It was a very complicated installation, but Tommy was up to it and did a fine job. I then took my 408 stroker Pantera to Superior Auto Engineering in Placentia, Ca ( another good group) and they were able to dyno tune it so that it now runs better than ever and picked up another 20 rwhp. It came in at 477 rwhp @ 6,000 rpm, with 448 ft lbs of torque.This is the first time in 5 years of working on my car that it is a delight to drive.
Holy crap. Why drive it? Just pull up a lawn chair, grab a martini, and stare at that glorious engine compartment.
