Reply to "vented rotors plus spacer plate"

Hi Peter, do you remember what the reasons was why you could not make it work with the Girlings?

When I tried it two things had to be modified and there are several ways to do it. Basically the trouble is the thicknes of the Disc. Two ways to accomodate for that. Either seperate the Girling Caliper and put a spacer between the two half or if you are using new pads have about 2mm milled of the Pads. In the second case the Studs that align the Pads obviously has to be shortened as well.

The reason I choose the Volvo Calipers (and even they requires a small modification) was the vast selection of performance Pads where to my knowledge only standard Street Pads are available for the Girlings.

I will take the Discs of you if you dont mind to send them to Denmark?
