Reply to "Video with Pantera"

Peter Saywell’s Pantera is a 1989 model, chassis #9532. Ben Tyer on his QV500.com web site reports Saywell originally bought the car from Pullicino Garage in Wandsworth, London. Phil Stebbings who says he is a close friend of Peter Saywell, reports the Saywell GT5S Pantera is the subject of an article in a recent Classic & Sportscar Magazine (if anyone can find this article, scan it and send it to me, I would be most grateful).

The car was offered for sale this year on the Oakfields web site (http://www.oakfields.com/), and the description read as follows:

This Right Hand Drive car was first registered in the UK in August 1989 and has covered 15534 miles (25000kms). Finished in black with Cream leather trim. An exceptionally good car maintained regardless of cost. Features include a Brook speed 5.5 Ford SVO V8 engine. Recently serviced, air conditioning. Special Alloy wheels. A1 condition throughout.

The guys in the UK DeTomaso Drivers Club say that Saywell is nice guy and a genuine car enthusiast. If I recall correctly, he was involved in their club.
