I didn't read all your desired critiera and went out yesterday to my pile of pieces (but didn't take a note pad).

Mine was an early 73 and I have pulled the felt out. If my memory is correct the hole in the loose felt was 4 X 16 cm.

I know it is not what you wanted excatly but that is what I had
