Vintage Air A/C system

Anyone heard of someone using a vintage air Gen 2 A/C system in the Pantera? I was talking to a sales rep from there yesterday and he said he had heard of an owner doing that, but couldn't give me details about it. I am wondering what was involved and what the results were.
