Readers of the DeTomaso list may have read Boyd Casey's posts selling a supply of these mirrors. I bought a pair from Boyd. They are the most adjustable mirrors I've ever seen. There are two ball socket joints at the base, two ball socket joints at the mirror housing and the mirror glass is adjustable in the housing. The mirror glass is recessed in the housing so it doesn't stick out past the edge of the housing when adjusted. They can be mounted on the flat horizontal area of the door or on the vertical door skin. The passenger mirror is convex so it provides a greater angle of view than a flat mirror. They also have an anti-vibration mounting feature. If you already have Vitaloni mirrors you may be able to use the existing holes since they use the same type mounting system. They provide an excellent rear view. The people on the DeTomaso list that have installed them really like them.
I've decided to use a pair of Wilkinson's mirrors so I've decided to sell the Vitaloni Turbo Racing mirrors. They are new in the box and have never been mounted.
