I am putting the wiring harness into the car and currently working on the engine bay. I thought the harness was finalized and proceeded to test with the new voltage regulator connected. All was well until I saw smoke coming out of the voltage regulator and I quickly pulled the negative cable at the battery. I don't know how to proceed at this point. Something is either mis-wired in the harness or I got a bad voltage regulator from Orielly's. Your suggestions are appreciated.
