I will not name any vendor, but I was sold a part that is no longer produced (for good reason) for a price that was double what I was told upon looking at the invoice. It is now a shelf ornament.

Now you've got me started, and I'm not that far along with my car.

As a counter to this, two vendors have been really good to me, with reasonable prices and great advice. I just talked to one of them today, and they asked how my car was coming along.
