Reply to "Wanna buy a Pantera?"

I have bought a few parts that needed some mods to fit. But I have always been able to return parts for a full credit when needed. I have enjoyed every relationship with every vendor I have dealt with. Vendors each have their own areas of expertise along with some weird habits. As we all do.

I have been disappointed occasionally, but never ripped off.

This is life. And not exclusive to Pantera.

I am thankful the vendors are here to help us with our passion. None that I have met in the past 30 years are making millions off us. It's hard to understand why they still do it. And I bet their stories about us are even scarier than ours about them!

You have a short memory or it doesn't bother you to be hooped for thousands.
Ever bought wheels for a GT5 that needed 2" spacers when they arrived? ($$$)
Ever bought glass that didn't fit?
Ever sent your car to the other side of the US, spent thousands on upgrades only to receive it to have many things not working? .........
Not a big deal, I guess. That's life (for you, not me)

Return parts? At who's cost for shipping and brokerage?? I've taken $80 carpet "kits" and thrown them in the trash. Not worth the shipping to return.I have a Boxer wing somewhere that is junk.
I've received headers that need additional welding because of holes. Headers that need mods to allow the bolts to enter.
I received a ~$200 part that ended up costing me $400 because they didn't ship it as discussed.
Window felt/trim that doesn't even come close to fitting.
There are many more. People tell me I have bad luck. They laugh at my stories about parts/orders. Bull$hit. It's not just me. It happens to everyone. People just choose to be quiet.
I guess for some, $80 or $200 is nothing. Whats the big deal. Chump change.I work too hard for my money.
Most people don't want to say much. " Oh well, what can you do?" I thought that was just a Canadian thing. They walk away. Too afraid of being blackballed.
