I have a 67' firebird and I had the same experience as Mikael... Half the parts I bought for my FB are in a box in my shed never to be used or returned. As far as my Pantera, it's really been 50/50. Since my car is a daily car I really don't worry about factory correct. I update to modern components to solve whatever issue comes up. It's easier, works better and becomes an off the shelf serviceable item after that.
