I just have to chime into this one. My wife once told me that she wanted to upgrade her diamond. Her argument was well you spend tons of money on your cars so I deserve a bigger diamond. (actually she does shes a great wife but thats besides the point) My response to her was that I could sell any one of my cars for a profit because I have time and sweat equity invested. I told her that if diamonds appriciated like my cars I would buy us both one. None the less she understood once I sold my first car. It made sense to her after that.
