Looking to change out the mechanical sunpro gauge and sender that my father had installed in his 74’ GTS and install his factory 260 with pantera electronics compensator. He ran the SunPro wire under the transmission tunnel and up into the front of the block under the thermostat. Peering behind the gauges I can see the red black wire that is supposed to be the sender wire to the original sender but I cannot find the red/black wire in the engine bay anywhere.
Any help please on where the red black wire runs into the engine bay. He did have the engine pulled and refreshed with the engine bay painted about five years ago so I’m fearful the wire may be missing on the other side. Thanks!
