Cool list, I of course have to look for more uses - will it help my kids do their homework quicker, that kinda thing.
Well, came across a very similar list to that above on SNOPES, and they claim to have sent a note to to the manufacturer and asked for confirmation of the claims, customer service responded with a culled list, and there was clarification of the 'main ingredient'
http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/household/wd-40.asp

No mention of it's medical benefits for arthritis, but they do confirm it will keep the pigeons off the balcony.

as for ingredients, they say the main ingredient is "solvent naptha, petroleum, medium aliphatic" >60%
followed by:
Petroleum base oil as paraffinic distillate, heavy, solvent-dewaxed (severe), 15%-25%
Corrosion inhibitor unregulated, 1% - 10%
fragrance unregulated, 0% - 1%
carbon dioxide, 2% - 3%

My suggestion (but I'm not a doctor) is to Not use this for medical purposes beyond lubricating the prosthetics.
