George! You are in the most fortunate of situations, my friend! It's the most successful technique of all to hangout with a platonic lady friend, and assist each other in the delivery of the pick-up line! It creates a 'competition' situation for the beautiful lady, right off the bat, and shows you're a gentleman with the ladies, like their company, etc. Or you can deliver the line for Debby and in return, she can deliver the line for you, or just sit there, looking jealous or disinterested, what ever seems most appropriate. That is, if Debby is the right person to help out in the reciprocal, mutually advantageous, arrangement.
