this is a Weiand problem, not a Cleveland problem.

If you run a remote thermostat, or no thermostat at all, the Weiand is just fine.

(I still prefer the Edelbrock impeller)

the pic below is a remote thermostat sold by Evans Cooling. One of these is going into 6018.
