WET SUMP VS DRY SUMP - OIL

Hello To All,

My first post here. This seems like a great place for what seems like a
great car; the PANTERA. Can some one please spell out the differences
between a wet and dry sump for the oil. And is a dry sump better on the
road as well as for racing? Thank you and thanks for all the great info
that I have read through already!!!
