I appreciate the welcome and the clear, fact filled answer above.
My 22 yr old and I have been looking at different cars and we want
to do the hands on work as much as we can. It seems the PANTERA
with it's FORD motor is the most logical choice. We talked about a
308 Ferrari seriously, but the PANTERA keeps rising to the top. WE
know close to nothing re. the details of owning, running and working
on these cars but we look forward to all of it. I am 50 so I remem-
ber these cars from my pre-teen and early teen days. I like the idea
of so many modifications being acceptable to the community of en-
thusiasts. Look at this video of the PANTERA killing the F 308 in a sla-
lom competion. PANTERA vs FERRARI I loved the sound of the
PANTERA each time the driver throttled up. I look forward to great
fun here. Thanks again.
